According to leaked information, Apple will introduce the iPhone 16 family with higher RAM and storage to avoid problems with artificial intelligence applications.

In late December, a company reported that Apple’s new phones could have the same amount of RAM as current phones, namely 6 GB for the base and Plus models and 8 GB for the Pro models. Some experts have noted that phones with AI technologies will require up to 20 GB of RAM to reliably execute rendering and assistant functions.

The report was later refuted by another report that said the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will have more RAM. Renowned analyst Tech_Reve shared the findings of a report from a Korean firm suggesting that the iPhone 16 will have more RAM to meet the demands of on-device AI.
According to the published report, Apple will include 8 GB RAM and 256 GB / 512 GB / 1 TB storage in the standard models of the iPhone 16 family. iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max models are estimated to use 12 GB RAM.
It is among the leaked information that the company will use Taptic Engine technology in the iPhone 16 series that will be presented to users this year. According to the claim put forward by 9to5Mac, the iPhone 16 Pro Max model will come with a 6.9-inch screen. iPhone 16 Pro Max will be introduced with a larger screen than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is said to have a 6.7-inch screen.
Recently, some details about the camera design of the iPhone 16 family were shared. According to the information revealed, Apple will make the camera array of the iPhone 16 model similar to the iPhone 12. The company will end the diagonal camera array in standard models starting with the iPhone 13 series.
